Beginning from around 2002 there were prophecies that people would find themselves waking up in the night with a burden to pray for Europe. From around the same it began to happen all over the world. This was all part of the emphasis from the Holy Spirit on a resurrection of the work of the kingdom of God in Europe. During 2003 we felt the prompting of the Spirit to produce a weekly outline to serve those already watching for the continent and as a means of encouraging others. Initially this began with a seventy-week watch, after which we were strongly encouraged to continue for a further three and half years.
From the start the emphasis has been particularly on resisting the devil, repositioning the church, and strategic prayer informed by the prophetic voices of Europe.
Currently we know that hundreds of watchers receive the weekly notes in French or English. Many forward it on to their own contacts and networks.
